Welcome to the 2011-12 web site of The University of Michigan Club of Hilton Head Island, recipient of the Alumni Association's 2010 Outstanding Club Award for Region 1!



Over 300 Michigan alumni live in Beaufort County, S.C. as of 2011. 50% of those alumni belong to the Alumni Association (a requirement to be a member of our Club).  We live as far south as Sea Pines, as far west as Sun City, and as far north as Habersham. We represent nearly all the University’s undergraduate and graduate schools and almost all of the graduation years from 1936 to the present.  In the main, we are transplants, some having come from as far away as Hawaii and Maine.  Yet as diverse as we are, we have in common our love and loyalty to the Maize and Blue!

regarding Club matters.
